Up-cycled Spring Décor – Easter Egg wreath idea from Pinterest

Hi Stampers

Today I took a break from card-making for a little while and decided to try a Pinterest idea for a spring wreath created from plastic Easter eggs.

I used some plates as a template to draw a circle on one of the protective cardboard inserts that come with some of Stampin’ Up’s designer series papers. Then I trimmed it into a wreath shape and used my hot glue gun to adhere a variety of plastic eggs onto the cardboard base. I then took just tiny bits of some paper shreds and tucked them into spots to camouflage any excess of the hot glue. Then added a ribbon to the back and hung it on my front door.

I hope it inspires you to try a craft with some up-cycled materials as well.

Have a terrific Sunday!

And happy stamping!
