Graduation card

Today I am sharing a graduation card that I created for my nephew. His school mascot is a “charger”, which is a knight on horseback who holds what appeared to be a yellow lightning bolt. The school colors seemed to be blue & red (with a bit of yellow in the lightning bolt), so I tried to have those colors reflected in the card in a creative way.

I used a retired stamp set from the spring occasions catalog for the knight, but the basic design of the “grad” card was cased from a couple of my fellow demonstrators.

Basically start with school colors of your choice, then just use the letters to spell out “grad”, cut a piece of cardstock to look like a graduation cap with tassel and you’ve got a graduation card. Then if you’d like you can even add a few finishing creative touches to customize your card as I did. Or keep it simple and clean! It’s always your creative choice!

Thanks again for stopping by my cn log and happy Stampin!
