Toil and Trouble with the “Cauldron Bubble” stamp set from Stampin’ Up!

Hello friends

Tonight I am sharing another card that I had created for a recent demonstrator swap.

This card uses the Cauldron Bubble bundle from the Toil & Trouble suite on page 49 of the the 2018 Holiday catalog.

The card base is a half sheet of Lemon Lime Twist cardstock with a split layer of Basic Black / Gorgeous Grape cardstock. The main images are all stamped in black on whisper white cardstock and colored in with Stampin’ Blends. The ghost is stamped onto vellum, then die-cut and attached using a mini-glue dot.

The bubbling brew of the Cauldron image was painted using a mixture of Granny Apple Green ink and Frost White Shimmer paint (Holiday catalog page 38). The Cauldron is die-cut and attached using stampin dimensionals.

A simple strip of our Gorgeous Grape 1/4″ mini-striped ribbon is attached across the base of the card.

The base of the card measures 5-1/2″x 8-1/2″, then is folded in half to become 5-1/2″x 4-1/4. The white layer is 5″x 3-3/4″.

Every year Stampin’ Up seems to come up with frighteningly fun Halloween sets and this year I feel like they came out with the best.

Cauldron Bubble is definitely one of my all-time favorites, and I will probably be keeping this set for my own personal use.

If you look at the suite you will notice that the the coordinating thinlits will perfectly die-cut the images. But even better is that the thinlits will die-cut the fabulous designer series paper as well!

I hope you enjoy my card design and if you have any questions about how to re-create this card or how to order supplies, please just reach out to me with a message. I will respond as quickly as I am able.

Until next time, happy Stamping!
